As the land-grant college within FAMU, CAFS Cooperative Extension Program plays a vital role in providing research-based information and resources directly to Florida’s farmers, individuals, producers, communities and agri-business  

The College of Education was the first and only college, department, or major within the university at its inception in 1887. The COE continues to celebrate superior accomplishments by its students, faculty, staff, and graduates. 

The College of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences, Institute of Public Health, provides you with robust education, hands-on experiences, and guidance from our expert faculty to prepare you for a successful career in the field.

Our programs connect students to the world with an array of learning opportunities including research, internships, co-op, service learning, online instruction, and experiential scholarship. 

The FAMU-FSU College of Engineering, established by the Florida Legislature in 1982, is the joint engineering school for Florida A&M and Florida State Universities. It is the only shared college of engineering in the nation.  

The School of Allied Health Sciences (SOAHS) is one of three health professional schools at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. 

The School of Architecture & Engineering Technology (SA+ET) is a professional school committed to preparing its graduates for excellence in the practice of architecture, construction, and electronics.      

The FAMU School of Business and Industry, under the leadership of the founding dean Dr. Sybil Collins Mobley, was established in 1974 to prepare talented students from around the nation and the world to thrive in a competitive global market place.  

The Florida A&M University School of Nursing is the oldest continuing baccalaureate nursing program in the United States at a historically black institution. 

Our research helps repair and preserve our natural resources, while our facilitation of technology transfer helps solve problems. In doing so, our educational programs raise awareness and support of environmental issues.
